要旨
A concept of geologic units neighbouring around a point and a function which assigns geologic units neighbouring around a that point, which is termed the neighbourhood function, have been introduced to extract a specific geologic boundary. A point on surface is characterized by geologic units neighbouring around it. The characterized points can be classified as a group of points that compose a specific geologic boundary surface. The algorithm for finding geologic units neighbouring around a point on surface is presented. Further, a method for finding geologic units neighbouring around points on surface and classifying the points as a group of points which compose a specific geologic boundary surface is shown by using a geologic structure composed of four geologic units.
